Individual grants in Public Health at the University of Porto, Portugal
The Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto announces three individual grants as part of the following research projects:
1. Early development of obesity and the metabolic syndrome (FCT-PTDC/SAUESA/ 105033/2008);
2. Eating habits in preschool children: a longitudinal approach to the identification of

determinants and effects on body composition (FCT-PTDC/SAU-ESA/108577/2008);
3. Determinants of optimal bone acquisition in adolescence: the role of low grade
inflammation on bone accrual and remodelling (FCT-PTDC/SAUESA/
108407/2008).
